ARTICLE 1—Name, Principal Office, Purpose and Restrictions
1.1. Name.
The name of the Association is Diablo Managers Association (DMA), a California
nonprofit mutual benefit corporation (“Association or DMA”).
1.2. Principal Office.
The Board shall determine the location of the principal office of the Association.
1.3. Purpose.
The Association shall promote, unify and improve the profession of educational
administration in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District by conducting appropriate
programs and activities.
1.4. Compliance with Laws.
All policies and activities of the Association shall be consistent with
applicable federal, state and local antitrust, trade regulation laws and other
legal requirements, including the California Nonprofit Corporation Law under
which the Association is organized and operated, and applicable federal and
state tax-exemption requirements.
